You are very talented but I would like to see work that wasn't carved from a picture, it would make it more original and therefore I think people would appreciate your work more.

Thank you but I thought Fred Gwynne was original, everyone else always carves Boris Karloff, lol. And I just wanted to give Herman some love! And portrait carving is just my style. If I did portraits of people nobody new they would just say who's that instead of wow! That’s Herman Munster or wow! Yoda, you carved that on a pumpkin, wow!

But art is all about expressing yourself.

I wasn’t trying to make you angry we all have are own opinions, so don’t be angry, art is a form of expression. And my art is expressed through my passion to create. . But I think that portraits on a pumpkin or done on canvas with charcoal or watercolor or pastels whatever resources we choose to use is art original characters or not, it still takes a lot of time and effort to put your heart into whatever we as artist choose to create. Unless we trace or steal then well that’s just crap and you shouldn’t even call yourself an artist.
